Crackle Blues probably takes the title for oldest sample in a bass music/dubstep track with Blind Lemon Jefferson - Jack O Diamond Blues / Chock House Blues. Unless.. ?

No really a mention of the Blackdown tracks. Usual Discogs Burial robots.

Brilliant release. The work of Burial in those charles alone already makes it a great purchase. Can't really understand why it is so cheap since it's one of the good EPs from dubstep's golden era.

Atmospheric, foggy, murky dubstep. Combines various eastern sounds, blues samples and a fair dose of crackle to capture a multicultural metropolis vibe that is (was) both current and futuristic at the same time. Sits nicely alongside Burial's more well known work as an EP.
