By far this the filthiest record that I has ever graced my ears. Just starting the LP off with Fly having a conversation with a dildo at first seemed pedestrian and juvenile at best, but then , he came through with "Rapp Nasty '84" , and with Fly being harassed by a group of rednecks trying to literally get in his ass, that's when I knew "Electronic Banana" was more than just a dirty rap record. There was a story to be told and this man was a freak, who needed a freak and by the time he ended up fucking the devil, I was shocked - thought the man could not get out of it, but he rode again and made clear that he was not going to eat rotted fish whilst singing "The Numbers Song" while doing the 69.
"Electronic Banana" showed why Fly is the only one who can fill his mask and rock his cape.To be able to spit about all forms of sexual activity throughout one LP, built as a concept record , without playing to the the "pimp" and "player" stereotypes that "pervade" dirty rap took massive ingenuity and some serious "balls". I recommend "Electronic Bannana" if your interested in hearing one of hip hop's most influential unsung members, just ask Too $hort.

"Fuck The Devil" is the same story as on Blowfly - Rapp Dirty / Blowfly's Rapp but using the melody of Planet Patrol - Play At Your Own Risk instead.
