Notes

Music Inspired By Lord Of The Rings
Music composed and arranged by Bo Hansson
It's very much Hansson's album: Apart from the writing,
he plays organ, guitar, Moog Synthesiser and bass.
Helping him are a few anonymous 'friends'.

This release has a picture of JRR Tolkien as an insert.

Love this record! The soundtracks to the movies are great but very slick and produced. Hannson gives these themes some classic old synth, mellotron, and drum machine treatments, rendering a more raw and mysterious feel consistent with the feeling we got reading the books back in the 70's.
