man this is such an important record in house musics history !! essential for everyone tracking the hostory of house musics roots ..... the vocal intro is amazing [time unlimited time undefined] . then it hits the relentless bassline , crashes , whistle song style solos beating frankie knuckles by decades [rip frankie] . its too simple for a lot of people but that is the thrill too , this is what house music was all about . its a journey and if you tune in it will take you there . love this .
when NYC house just fucking RULED !

The greatest deep house record ever!! with also one of the baddest baselines ever. How can any true house head not appreciate this stunning record. The spoken voice intro is probably the greatest spoken vocal on a house record by the great reggae poet Mutabaruka, which warps you into the groove, before a baseline from heaven grabs you and then the flutes magically take over, hypnotising you to the very end. And to add further delights the track on the b sides 'Massai Women' is an underrated African tribal house beauty that rocks. Bobby Konders we salute you!
