Boca 45's second album, VERTIGO SOUNDS, dives even further into the lo-fi soul, letting Kelvin Swaby's vocals carry "Round And Round" right back into the 70s. But the drums of Diego's Theme" brings us right back into modern funk, replete with bass and rhythm guitar. "Crime De La Créme" strips things down to sexy French vocals, the drums, the bass and a wah-wah guitar, with a few strings sneaking in at the end there to segue to the harmonies of "Summer Gospel." The cover of Genesis' "That's All" goes grimier and better for it, while "Make's No Sense" gets back into the funk. "Tribute" has a soft, sad melody and "End Of The Road" closes the album on a nice note. This type of vertigo sounds just right.
