Interesting to note that this alnum has a Charleston flair and cha cha dance mode to all the songs. Haha. I do not enjoy most Christmas albums due to their being overly dramatic and repetitive. I like this one. It is fun for background music if you like jazz..while decorating for example. No words. It is well rounded. Its a bit commercial feel possibly but not in a chokehold manner if you get my drift. Good for mingling while waiting for the Christmas office party to start? me thinks. A hispanic flair and great trumpets. Especially love the silent night done with marimbas! Fun!

It feels worth noting that the versions marked 'The Border Brass with Singers' (for example the covers with the red background) include vocals on some tracks, while other versions (at least the Design Records release with the white backgrounds, and possibly others) do not include vocals on those tracks (for example, 'We Wish You A Merry Christmas'). Worth splitting the 'with Singers' releases into a separate release?
