Great press in red vinyl, for me no problem at all. Not Bowie at his absolute best but pretty close. Some great tracks and a handful of fillers. Standout tracks - Diamond Dogs, Sweet Thing, Rebel Rebel, Rock and Roll with me.

Noisy vinyl. Lots of treble, high end like a reviewer mentioned, especially in comparison to an origial US RCA vinyl. I like a bit of high end so it doesn't bother me. Seems like adequate bass. Protective inner. Pressed flat. Overall I am glad i got this.

Hey Bowie and audiophile fans....check me out on this Red Vinyl 45th Anniversary edition. When I compare this new Red Vinyl pressing to my original first pressing 1974 NZ vinyl pressings, my NZ first pressing on cassette tape and my Japanese RCA (and German RCA CD) first pressing on CD I get the feeling that this has way too much treble and sounds brittle, harsh and abrasive. I don't mean to be a party pooper but this new Red Vinyl pressing sounds gutless and lacking in warmth/bass. I'm playing it on a good system (Tannoy, Denon, Pro-Ject and Ortofon) but It just sounds awful. How does it sound to you? P.S I LOVE BOWIE so don't be a hater on me for this truthful & honest review.
