This was an impulse buy at the record store counter and I do not in the least regret it. I'd heard the album before in digital format, though I'm glad to have it in vinyl now; the medium complements the album, which draws from disco, turntablism, dub, and *step/garage, blending it into a glowing, hypnotic gallery of smooth, late-night beats. I could leave side B on repeat for hours. A particular standout track is "Cold War", which is an infectious and eminently danceable track with awesome synth sounds. The production all over is polished and smooth, rivaling the masters of the field today.
