The Casbah Breakdown can be a dancefloor bomb if played to the right crowd at the right moment. If you find it in vinyl, take it!

Casbah Breakdown is Joey Negro's redit of the classic Clash jam. This is about 126bpm with dj friendly intro/outro to mix with. A subtly bigger kick drum than the original version but nothing annoying or over the top. Its just enough to keep the track from losing momentum when played against other club tracks. The first half is without vocal. Joey added a deep house saxophone which takes the lead. Second half of the track the original clash vocals come in to reward the crowd. Its about 6 minutes long. Heard this played as a closing track at Club Love NYC in summer 2010. It really was a nice way to end it.
