Like all brain releases and like all the producers of them and the people who listen to them, you need to like your f**ked up acid techno to enjoy these....fortunately i love them!! Out of all the brain releases this is my favourite, you can smell the acid 303 bassline a mile off in the XTC mix, this was the last track played by DJ M-Zone at Helter Skelter - Energy 99 - a vital element. The track starts with an eerie underground industrial sample with vocals "it is dangerous to reamin here, there is a message for you, it is nothing serious" until the messy 303 bassline is delivered with authority. This track epitomises the dark acid stuff m-zone use to play and why you need a slightly f**ked up brain to enjoy them. The phuture mix (vinyl side with the writing on) has a more pumping, groovy feel to it but both mixes offer something different and a "must have" for those acid heads of the late 90s!!
