Small complaint (tiny in fact...) but, why would you edit Ikebukuro but leave the entire 1/1? The former actually changes as it goes along where 1/1 can become overkill....

I've reluctantly downgraded this box set compared to volume 1 as it is clear that certain classic eno tracks you'd expect to find were left off to promote Virgins (admittedly stunning) ambient series
example in point : An Ending (ascent) , Lizard Point, evening star, his work with John Cage

as a result disc 1 is weaker than it should be and ends deflatingly with some uncharacteristic insipid tracks from 1988's music for films II

disc 2 is stronger and includes the best digital transfer of Warszawa and Moss Garden outside of the deleted 1984 RCA Bowie CDs
the quality is maintained as disc 2 continues through late 70's rarities, collaborations with Cluster, Harold Budd, Daniel Lanois, and finally fripp

disc 3 is long pieces from Music for airports, discreet music etc, truly blissful listening

I have to deduct another point for "the glue issue", it seems too much glue or the wrong type was used and the whole box is permanently tacky, despite my best conservation efforts, at some point i will probably have to junk the box to save the individual cds and their cases

taking all the above into account and the fact that in 2017 this box is pretty expensive I would recommend that anyone wanting an introduction to Eno's ambient works purchase a Brief History of Ambient Volumes 1,2,3 & 10 where you will find Eno's best work, both alone and with collaborators like Cage, Fripp, Budd, Hassell and Brians brother Roger Eno
