This is a crackin' pair of tunes, both around 125-130 bpm and mainly fourbeat-based but with great breakbeat sections; Radiate has a really uplifting "fanfare" hook while Survive has a nice simple trancey riff plus a random vocal sample from the movie adaptation of Naked Lunch.

I first became familiar with both tracks from appearances on mix albums - Radiate is on the first of the two wicked Funkydesertbreaks CDs on Moonshine and Survive appears on the Oakenfold mix on the anthem-packed 1995 Essential Mix album - but when I discovered both were on the same single I knew this record was an essential purchase!
