Notes

Burmélange is a collective from Myanmar (Burma) founded in 2010 and dedicated to so called experimental music.
Hearing and assuming the sounds as an art form, they create music in their own styles in accordance with the country they live in, their lives, minds, feelings and inspirations.
The band includes four musicians from Yangon : Ko Jeu, Darko C, Kyi Ther and Tser Htoo.
Ko Jeu, started to experiment with sound in 2005 and collaborated to a sound art and poetry project in 2008 with Darko C, who is together with Tser Htoo, a member of Side Effects, one of the best known Burmese punk bands, it is then of no surprise that Burmélange doesn't stick to one genre : they switch from post-industrial to minimal electronic to post-punk, from instrumental tracks to songs in English or Burmese from abrasive distorted sounds to dark melodies.
The band is now focusing on developing experimental music and sound art in Myanmar by inviting and collaborating with international sound and media artists.
Limited to 250 copies with hand printed covers.
