It's a bit a travesty that no one has (yet) bothered reviewing this psychedelic masterpiece. But, here we are. Perhaps this is the sound of Gibby and crew being into ecstacy more than their usual acid? Or dipping into both, and pressing record. It's on the edge. Gibby's voice is starting to get buried in effects, and getting looped like it would be to great effect over the next few records where they really came into their own and prior to their departing from Touch and Go. It's certainly one of the most grooving things in their catalog, and also most tripped out in the ways of actually getting down to dance. It's like they abandoned the snot and vigor of their former selves, but they kept their Keseyian instincts culled as wide eyed psychedelic smart assed punks fully intact.
