According to me this is the best La Calamar release ever. Only because of 2 songs that are still relevant today: Polonian Polynomix and Para Disco Fly. Those are the 2 best examples of La Calamar's sound imho. Bubbly, warbly, very psychedelic, and basically unmelodic but still recognisable and powerfull. The other tracks are pretty bad though. 01 and 02 seem to be very unimaginative compared to the 2 standout tracks and indeed most of the tracks on La Calamar's previous release. Mummofobia tries to incorporate DnB into the Calamar sound, but fails to really deliver on this blend (the sum is not more than the seperate parts in this case). The bonus track suffers from the same problems as the first 2 tracks. Too focused on bass, and the viral sounds that are supposed to make it psychedelic are too little and too far between and there isn't a real theme to be found anywhere. Too generic to be good. Those 2 great tracks lift it just to 4/5 for me though, it is a free release after all.

Purely for the spugedelic fans who don't need melodies all the time.
