Imagine the fact that the price of the box set is as much as the price of an original pressing of their albums.

Just saw that Mute have released all the LPs individually for around $22 ea (e.g. at Juno in UK). So you could buy the 14 repressed LPs for c. $250/$300 total. Which means the live LP, the box and posters cost me c. $250!

Interesting that a seller from Austria has already broken up a box set and is selling the LPs individually here! (I guess keeping the box, the live LP, booklet and posters! Probably see more people doing the same …)

Mine just arrived from the UK. Obviously the music is peerless, but the repro/printing of the 'new' sleeves is uniformly terrible - they look like color xeroxes of the originals. (Much like the recent official represses of TG's LPs - also through Mute.) With current digital technology you would have thought it would be possible to get better/near-facsimiles of the original sleeves? The 'extras' - the posters and the booklet feel a bit half-hearted too, esp. for a $500+ box set. Haven't played the vinyl yet - so no thoughts about the remastering, but looking forward to listening to the live LP.
