Just vacuum cleaned mine and what a relief. A pretty dirty record straight from the plant. Luck of the draw I guess.

After reading the more positive recent comments, I decided to open up my copy. It's a decent pressing. The record is not perfectly flat or centered (but if you have a good table, it tracks fine) and there are ocassional small pops and crakles but for how quiet it was cut it's perfectly acceptable. It is perfectly enjoyable even without vacuum cleaning it which I suspect would eliminate a lot of the surface noise.

played my copy last night and it sounds great, what I don't get is the price on discogs since they are easily available here: https://www.bullmoose.com/p/32972969/caroline-polachek-pang-clear-w-gold-marble-vinyl

I picked up a copy of this variant from Rough Trade; the way it was described at their site had me thinking it might be a different option than what's listed here. It is the same, however. Playing through it now, and it's been great -- quiet, no pops, etc.

I personally think she should of done this as a 2xlp vinyl and the songs would definitely sound better, I’m happy to have the gold swirl because it reflects light and you can see all the gold, but looking at it you can barely see much gold, it sparkles!!!!, anyways I’ll be playing this version till they get a better quality, because Caroline’s voice is too nice to not have 100% quality, my pressing sounds fine btw just quiet af and I will say it’s not dynamic, it sounds a bit flat, whatever they did with the moth vinyl they should do to this because I seen some amazing reviews abt that one definitely will be picking up !!!

I got a copy in the mail two days ago from her bandcamp and it sounds fine. It's a lot of music crammed into a 33 RPM, but it's a perfectly fine record.

Incredible pressing, I guess the odds were in my favor. I'm playing my copy on a 1210 M5G with a VM95SH Shibata

I must be lucky - my copy sounds gorgeous! No surface noise, bass sounding just like it's supposed to.

The more I listen to my copy, the more upset I get that I spent $25 on this.

Well, looks like we're all in agreement here... this pressing is a let down. Anyone get ahold of the Vinyl Me Please pressing or know how to get one? If you own it please update us on the quality.....
