Liner Notes:

The Casaloma Brothers started playing together in 1949 after they had left school. It was a family group of two brothers and two cousins, Alton Maduna, Mathews Zwane, Meshack Nglobo and Elphas Nkosi. Eventually the group spilt and Alton Maduna struggled to form another Casaloma Brothers Group. He managed to form a new group consisting of himself, David Ngcobo, Hyland Mabaso and Sydney Mohamed. The group played together for quite a time and then Sydney Mohamed left and was replaced by Paulus Mashobane a nephew of Alton Maduna, Paulus is the Baritone in the group. The Casaloma Brothers usually perform at social gatherings, churches and weddings.
