This is the album most like Celtic Frost's masterpiece "To Mega Therion" & Triptykon songs in the same vein.

They could've just skipped the four albums before this one (just as one might say about Metallica during the same period and others), this is Cathedral's 2nd good album after the masterpiece Forest of Equilibrium (my fav album of that year) as far as I am concerned.

Album 2 to 5 is not bad but they're pretty bad for Cathedral, and should've been made under another logo (again, as Metallica did during their drunken wasted commercial 90s), I've listened to 'em all and just sit and wait to hear a great song but it's just music and more music, neither good nor bad. But on this one they finally got back to themselves again and quit the 70s pop rock for heavy Sabbath inspired stuff.

After 16 years of long and excruciating wait, Cathedral's seminal album 'Endtyme' is being reissued by Earache for the first time on vinyl.
It MUST be preordered, according to their 'VINYL ON DEMAND' project policy. They will finally press the album once the goal of 500 pre-orders is reached, which is quite lame if you ask me, as they could just press 500 copies of the damn thing and they'd be sold out in a week. Who knows what the hell they were thinking there...
Anyway, we're now at 74 pre-orders, at the time of this writing, so there's a lot of road left to march on.
Let's hope I get to see this done before I die...

Here's the link to the preorder page.
