Steve Silk Hurley mix is the one, strong vocal from Ce Ce. A fantastic house record of that era.

Though I own every Ce Ce 12" and double promo's, this is hands down my favorite cut from Peniston. I lucked out and found this 12'' at a used shop in some random 99 cent bin and I was quite shocked! Not only because it was in mint condition and only 99 cents, but mainly because it's a rare piece of classic house history.

I discovered years later that the main featured remix (Silk In The House Mix) was never going to be made available digitally down the road, so I was quite relieved to have found this gem. A&M really should have released it on one of her CD singles for the hardcore fans to collect. All versions are top drawer in my book! :)

Might as well put it out there that CeCe Peniston was not one of my favorite artists. It may have had more to do with seeing her live on the Apollo stage one night. She was trying to sing her little heart out, whilst dancing all over the place. The result was a less than stellar performance; her all huffin and puffin, and somewhat out of tune. Sometimes its not good to multitask.

All that said, I really like this peice of vinyl with nice fun tracks. First time I heard this, I knew I had to have it, but the getting was a bit tough being so hard to find. Nothing too serious, or life altering, just fun, and as always, gets the ladies dancing (which, almost any DJ worht their salt knows is a good thing).
