The vinyl - Superb release from Belgium's WeMe Records, one of the best I've heard yet. Dead--and I mean DEAD--quiet pressing, as flat as the proverbial wax pancake and modestly weighted, too. Proof-positive that colored vinyl quality is all up to the factory it's pressed in. Fantastic sound!

The album - Another acid slammer from the genre master. He's never sounded so confident as he does here, further refining the sound I've called home since 2010's Psychtapolis EP and United Acid Emirates LP. He makes '80s retro-electro sound shockingly fresh and inviting, like I've been transported mind & soul to the forgotten dance floor of decades past. So, prepare the 8-bit jumper and the nightly sunglasses, 'cause tonight it's on when the Acid Crew comes to you!
