Dutch bands are often difficult to describe, they don't follow any trend or simple way to make music. The music on this album is real emotive art, at majestic levels.
They adorn their 'depressive doom metal' ( i know this isn't a good definition) with opulent orchestral arrangements and wonderful 'folk' (quite apocalyptic) influences.
Think of the early works of My Dying Bride, but with a touch of originality, characterizing in a curious heavy-psych with dark influences (their cover of “Vienna” - Ultravox – is quite memorable).Nothing is obvious in this album, words can't render it.
