There are two Cevin Fisher records currently out there. "It's A Good Life" you don't need; this you do. Remember the first time you heard "French Kiss" and were so totally and utterly drawn into the hypnotic rambling bass that regardless of how monotonous it was you knew you'd never tire of it? Well Cevin takes all those elements and makes a burbling groove not a million miles removed that works away at you till you succumb. Shelia Smith's vocal are far from up - monotone, soulless and at times almost too dark for there own good. But that is what's really clever - you want to hate this for all those reasons, but you don't, can't and won't. Twisted house for a twisted world.
