Aw man, got this on Sub Pop's site but the LE of this was sold out so I'm getting a regular copy with my LE copies of Light Information and Infiniheart. I could've got it here for 5 bucks more, aaagh my ocd! Oh well it'll still sound nice and I can just get this version one day and give my old one to a friend.

I agree with the review below. This is definitely my favourite album from him and I was lucky enough to see him on the tour for this album.

I must say that the mastering on this album is stunning. Each element can be heard in crisp, perfect balance. Chad's trembling tenor sounds like he's sitting across the room from you. The various echo's and reverb sound authentic and purely analog. The slide guitar wraps you in a warm hug, while the record's personal lyricism obviously adds to its intimacy. Each song is a real beauty, making this a standout of 2014 songwriter albums. I'd take this over Sufjan any day (not like they need to be compared, just sayin').
