This is Charlie Palmieri's debut Charanga LP, with his orquesta "La Duboney" which was comprised of some of the very best Latin musicians around (at the time): Rudy Calzado, Felo Brito, Carlos Patato Valdez, Jose Silva, Victor Velasquez, and others. The old Caravana Club was located on 149th Steet in the Bronx. I went there often and always had a great time. It has since closed its doors to the great orchestras that once played there and has been converted to a Pentecostal church.
