One of my favorite releases on the Mokum Records label.
The first track "Chosen Anthem (Against Racism)" was a clear statement of Chosen Few/Mokum Records against racism. It has a dark held intro with the famous voice sample "Fucking Hardcore", which lead to the compilation series by the same name. Other than that I feel that this track might lack a bit on highlights in the main parts.

"Gabberdam" is a song that was written by Scheltema, most famous under his aliases Predator and Cyanide. He provided excellent work on that song, it is a fast paced track but with an interesting arrangement and a nice lead melody.

The B-Side starts off with "Stringsz (Hakke Voor Gevorderden)" and honestly I have a soft spot for these kind of songs: Dark choir/string sounds which create an ultimate dark atmosphere just perfectly fitting for the Gabber/Hardcore style.

The last track on here is "Tranceparant" and it is quite a classic. A gabber track with really nice TB-303 elements in it, reminds a bit of Jungle. Listen to the remodeled version of Tranceparant on the Terrordrome III Compilation (Strontium 9000 - Totally Tranceparant Jungle 2000), Chosen Few did an excellent job in taking sounds from this tune (Tranceparant) and remodeling it into a hardcore banger.

Overall the release is one of the best early Mokum and worth a 5 star rating.
