- that's because they just mixed them with a jungle beat or something to the like (sampled) and made it something different/better than actually evolving it. Humans might be lazy and slow to the eye of beauty at times. Now it's time to seclude, perfect it and evolve.

I prefer it at 33rpm as well.

Somewhere it was described as how krautrock should have evolved in the 80s but didn't. I tried to think other records from this imaginary scene and would add La Dusseldorf's Individuellos, Moebius & Asmus Tietchens "pop" albums and early Rheingold maybe.
At the same time Walter Bachauer's project moves in parallel with another one of my heroes : Conrad Schnitzler. That's how big this album is...

Personally i've been in love since i've heard it (too many times!!!) ripped at the wrong speed of 33 RPM from the post on Mutant Sounds, one of the biggest musical influences i had in the last years :-) - the lp cover states that it's original speed is 45 RPM ... but i love both and can't say which one is the best! So glad i didn't purchase the cd version ... i basically have two albums in one :-)

Too much dark beauty to be contained in such little time...

Listen at least 4-5 times at 33RPM instead of the "suggested" 45RPM

Only 3 1/2 stars if listened to 45 RPM
Definitely 5 stars if listened to 33 RPM
