Proxyma - Other Worlds is just a poor mans code 9 - atmosphere, yet goes for loads more on here?? why, ok it was played by M-Zone @ Pleasuredome in 1997, but unknown to many he also played this release @ Diztruxshon in 1994, and this is much better, has 2 good supporting tracks also, so i know where my money would go ;)

So I'm going to disagree with trancetrooper on this one; the real gem here is the Hardtrance Mix. Yes the original is great but I can't get past A1 without bringing the needle back. Starting with an exciting lead-in with those lovely drum kicks then an atmospheric (get it?) breakdown and a ecstatic climax bassline makes this a perfect hard trance single. Faster is so much better. After that we go into traditional trance with the Original Mix on A2. I will reiterate trancetrooper here "one of the most high energy uplifting melodic riffs in Trance history." Yes it's that memorable. The Answer (B1) is somewhat short and lacks the impact Atmosphere had but it has a driving bassline nonetheless if not somewhat underwhelming overall. Planet Of Harmonies (B2) starts of with an amazing piano intro and floaty riffs transforming into calming jam that maintains the piano theme. In its entirety this is a must-have record (as is everything else from URR) but this one especially for any hard trance lover! If you see one at a record store it's well worth it.
A1 - 5 stars (hard trance perfection)
A2 - 5 stars (powerful but not an in-your-face rave tune)
B1 - 3 stars (underwhelming compared to Atmosphere but high energy)
B2 - 4 stars (the retained piano melody is the best part)

An absolutely timeless, but quite rare U.R.R record right here! This vinyl(as with all Code's) only 3000 of each release was pressed.
A2 is a melodic track which starts off with an uplifting strings synth pushing on to the hi-hats that lead to the bouncy bubbly bassline and solid kick, the track progresses gating the pad which is heard throughout the start of the track, until it reaches the breakdown into what i can only describe as one of the most high energy, uplifting, melodic riffs in Trance history, once heard you'll never forget it, IT remains in my eye's and i know eye's of many others one of the finest trance gems out there!
A MUST buy for fans of Trance and of URR!
