Amazing proper old skool acid. Love this and volume 1. Remember picking both up on vinyl at the time and playing them over and over. D-9-5 a highlight, and the fizz on Intensity Awesome.

Resize....Yep remember this bad boy from a tape that I had recorded off the radio.....Planet FM The Remeberence Day Special mix (one o clock two o clock Bill Haley !)..... I was at my mum's visiting her in sunny old Tulse Hill.... Bought some tdk 90's and proceeded to tape loads of jungle and then this station and this tune was rolling twisting and gurning!....Needless to say I kept the tape from the pause button! Tune!....All the tunes off this ep are the bollocks! Ps "Don't forget to wear a poppy on your....Planet FM- Which planet are you onnnnn!??!"

Resize.... Amazing electro 808s/909s, moody fizzing bassline, sonar pulse and that acidick crescendo/Diminuendo (someone give me the correct term here!?) ...
I heard this on Planet FM in 1993.... "What planet are you on"!!!??? ;)
'Phasematic' still rocks in an acidick trance way...
'Intensity'...Wow! Another acid banger tweaked to the extreme by Rob Acid...

Spring 1992, and Belgian Hardbeat has exhausted itself -or morphed into UK Hardcore- and acid is back on the agenda. Which suits me just fine. Amongst the exciting rush of brand new squelch madness is this EP: a ten track bag of the full range of tricks you can entice Roland's magic box to perform. Packaged in a nice red, too. A stand out highlight of that time.

I have to agree with Boneless-one. The standout here is definitely "D-9-5" with its warmth-meets-dark feel and housey swing. Old-school acid of the highest caliber. The remainder of the tracks are of the harder Labworks edge, definitely acidic but bordering on trance. If you dig the early '90's underground warehouse rave sound, you'll likely dig this release - but if, like me, you love acid in the Spanky / Phuture / Hardfloor / Mad Mike tradition, you'll be all over "D-9-5" - a rare gem.

All tracks are great, including those short acid fill-in track though it is not as raw as vol. 1 was. Anyway, the real stand out track for me is "D-9-5" which has a spooky yet friendly athmosphere to it that is hard to describe. Perfect example of smart use of 303, perfectly matching bassline and shuffle rhythm.
"Phasematic" is hypnotic 303/707(?) tune that goes on and on and on varying most every aspect of the TB.

This record rocked at the new year's rave in 1992!!
