The Dome, Brighton c.1978. I was feeling miffed at having been told to sit down by the stewards when, about 3 songs in, came the thumping bass of Brick House. Well, I wasn't about to sit through the funkiest song by the funkiest band so I got up (& got down) expecting the auditorium to follow. They didn't. However, Lionel Richie pointed to me and said, "You got the groove". Coming fron the groovemaster I was well chuffed. Sadly, my groove, along with Lionel's was misplaced and hasn't been seen since the late eighties.
