I remember the sound of the demos were very interesting, or QI as Stephen Fry says on british TV, why am I saying that...Brian Shoaf&Graham Fry on guitars...and I don't know if Graham Fry was involved in the writing of the music but sure was in the overall sound of the guitars, none of the later are bad of course but I know I thought it was too bad hearing the vinyl in 1990 after hearing the demo cassettes (recorded from a friend of Uffe C in Entombed) as the cassettes had more of a deep feeling and individual sound on each song, on the album the songs had almost the same sound on every song, the one thing that could be criticized on other masterpieces too like Reign in Blood f.i. by Slayer. I hold this album up by the sides of Sieges Even's Life Cycle & Steps and Deathrow's techno metal masterpiece Deception Ignored back in 1988/89 and '90 when Confessor came. We sure tried a lot of songs in our techno metal band Rivendell in Sweden from this album (just as Lamb of God had done, they said themselves).

I have an instrumental version of this album. Got it from Pen of Breadwinner when I played with them who got it from the band. Don't know how rare it is but I would imagine it is.
