Wow...

This is one of the most powerful pieces I have ever heard. With Sinead O'Conner behind the vocals anyone could expect that this was going to be another inspirational single but no one could expect the impact that it would make. Starting with Tiesto's mix I was not really ready for something that didn't sound like cheese. After listening to his mix of 'Never Look Back' I was very disappointed in his earlier years. Then he came back with his signature mix of 'Silence' and it quickly became one of the biggest hits of the year. So I wasn't sure what to expect. Anyway, I was smiling at the end so I got my satisfaction. I was rather disappointed though because he had this build up after the vocals were done and it didn't get louder. :( Anyway moving on... I came to number 3 and I knew that Hybrid would never let me down. With that seriously funky bass and that mind yerning breakbeat Hybrid did an excelent job with no mistakes as usual. I rate it as #1 for the CD. Then comes Rivera's mix. Rivera has this tendency to be kind of radical and make everything messed up but atleast he isn't as extreme has Thomas Schumacher. :P Rivera, I thought, did an alright job. Putting his trademark sound into the mix Rivera creates another tribal piece for those house lovers. Booya! But... this was my least favorite mix. It's the last track that really made an impression. I don't know who Carmen Rizzo is but he/she hit it right on the spot by making a chillout version. Wow...
