"a wonderful blend of Dictators-style guitar plus Material or Robert Fripp or... somebody. Spacey, but a lot of fun."

? - from the broadcast, last three tracks.

A varied collection of soundscapes that range from sleep-inducing ambience to the something that sounds like a dead body revolving inside a cement mixer. Songs From The Drain begins with a dreamlike subtlety that gradually gives way to nightmarish noise, culminating with "...On Eating Garbage" whilst Red Stigmata is possibly the catchiest thing that Controlled Bleeding ever recorded. The final three untitled tracks are recordings of an early incarnation of the band that consisted of Gary Pecorino, Tony Meola and Paul Lemos thrashing out some great, oddball NY art rock. #14 and #15 are definitely "Veal" and "Wall Of China Love Letters".
