The soundtrack of an underground comics between Montpellier and Lozère.
Reminding the raw energy of an audio-zine, spontaneous throws colored by 60s acid visions.
This fifth album of Courge is a dense mixture of youth savagery and libertarian poetry,
a basement discharge on a constant loosing mind 4-track. Played by a freeform DIY band
around Mattt Konture.
Including impulsive garage rock songs with wonky characters at the foreground, doubtful monologue, hesitating groupies ditty and never ending noisy rock !
Some Krautrock vibes on "Mononote Cosmonaute", 18 min. of cosmic exploration through repetition and mind-reverberation, inspired by Guru Guru, Can, Neu! and recalling German Oak bunker sound.
Mattt's voice traces a path to the inner trip parallel to that of his pencil author of comic books. An exotico-electric organ fills the faded pages while an hallucinated character
rapidly rising mushroom trip is absorbed by a thriving fuzz !
Now a reissue of this black pumpkin soup with revisited artwork.
