Paper Recordings rarely lets the discerning DJ down, and Crispin J. Glover’s full-length, Rhythm Graffiti, doesn’t either. “Loose Booty” lets you get down with some disco-funk, while “Whistle Bump” throws in dub reverb into the mix. The gospel chorus on “It’s Music” takes you straight back to the 70s, and “Stone Cold Funk” moves you forward in time to the 80s with its block party vibe. Now, admittedly, too much disco can get deathly boring, but Crispin Glover manages to keep the interest level up, even after the tracks start to wear thin. Feel free to spread this graffiti around.
