Gotta hand it to CS- what a driving, devastating production- not my typical style at all, far from it, but out in Cologne as it did its first rounds, it caught me right on the chin whilst loitering in the Boathouse club- Jesus H Christ it blew the place to pieces, and then some. Like watching Blade Runner on the edge of a cliff, as the world meets its end at the hands of some galactic terror. A shameless, hypnotic, scary big room reaper that deserves a nod, regardless of tastes. Deadly...

Everything about this record is strange to me. One reason is that I heard it somewhere years ago and could not figure out the sample which it used as the main melody line of the track. But the memory faded and I forgot about the entire ordeal. I got this record by mistake last week and it turns out to be the exact track I wanted but had forgot about. This time around I knew what the track was. The Earons - "Land Of Hunger". An old tune from like 1983. Not many people will be familiar with the original but "Hugs'n'kisses' snatches big portions of the tune and welds it together with a current electro-house tool kit. Still sounds good for a release almost four years old, so I figured I would mention it. The artist Criss Source must have some stuff up on Youtube, so maybe see what you can find...
