The cover art of this lame version totally sucks in contrast to the original one,
they didn't even get the track titles right! Show some respect for us artists!

One of my favourite albums of all times, not only from the genius Amon Tobin, but generally!
Actually the track on the new 3xLP release from BeatDelete is called "4 or 6", not "4 or 5",
as the sample goes "I don't remember how many blotters he took...4 or 6, anyway..."
...maybe the change was due to legal issues, but I guess it's just a simple typo.

I got Amon Tobin to sign my copy on vinyl when I saw him during the Isam tour. He told me that he carved the foam form on the album cover himself, took some photos and fiddled around in photoshop. It's one of my favorite albums by him and I felt so honored to hear that story right from him.

Can you believe that this album was all made with a Akai sampler? Yes, because Tobin is a mega-brain producer...and this was just the begining...

Most of my favorite Amon Tobin was made in his Cujo period, which I guess is just this albums worth of work. This album has some interesting jazzzzzzy dnb and downtempo-typa-ish in the unmistakeable Amon Tobin style.

Also check out the Amon Tobin remix of a Roots Manuva track. I don't remember the name of it but check it out its bomb.

Possibly one of Amon Tobin best works... to think that this ablum was first releaesed in '96! As an artist so ahead of his time he has managed to be cemented into the Ninja Tune family. F Zebra.

This album is sublime, but then any comment I post anywhere regarding the works of Mr. Tobin will read similarly, as he has the 'midas touch' more than any other producer in my (humble) opinion. This album serves also as an excellent prelude to further exploration of his work, as he seems only to delve deeper into to audio experimentaion with each subsequent release! Easily the most accessible of his releases most likely due to its age & his experience in production at the time. Having distinct leanings toward drum & bass & classic old skool (jazz) breaks almost makes it an easier (and possibly more frequent) listener than his later outings & the extra tracks* included here are tasty morsels for the avid fan. Excellent, an album which any Ninja Tune fan will revel in & those with a penchant for jazzier breakbeats will do much the same I imagine. Get it now.

* Originally 'adventures' was released on Shadow recordings without many of the tracks included here ('the method', 'ol bunkhouse', 'on the track', 'the sequel') and the vinyl does not include all original cd tracks. Thankfully the whole thang in all its glory can be found on the Ninja Tune 2-cd re-release version & not surprisingly is well worth investigating! K@
