Heavily played on the early Breakbeat/Hip Hop scene, Cymande's Soul-Funk influenced masterpiece "Bra" was included on historical compilations series such as 'Super Disco Brake's', 'House Masters', 'Standing On The Verge...The Roots Of Funk (1964-1974)', 'Blueprint - Digital Blueprint Of Soulful, Funky Grooves', 'Urban Chill', 'Grandmaster Flash : Essential Mix Classic Edition', and 'Choice - A Collection Of Classics' by Little Louie Vega, among others.
A Major reference for the Worlds of Breakbeats, Hip Hop, Drum n'Bass and House Music, "Bra" was sampled by the music of the likes of Busy Bee, De la Soul, Def Jef, DJ Chuck Chillout & Kool Chip and DJ Kool alone, just to mention a few. Its sophisticated arrangements and ensemble fits perfectly on a high-demanding dancefloor audience, from the Sax solo to the funky rhythms and horns.

On the B Side, "Rastafarian Folk Song"'s quote was included on the Moody Boys vs. the KLF version of the massive electronic music anthem "What Time is Love?". This is a 7 inch single you should definitely go for if you want to hear 'the originals'.
