this is probably the most basic and yet the most energy-packed piece of music ive heard so far in my life. it just takes your hand and rushes into the deepest parts of an apocaliptic ruin. the train trip soundtrack, where you just notice slight changes in the view. magnificent monochromatic piece, it has no colour for your mind when you close your eyes to experience the visions.

The first batch of this 12" (1993) used red ink on the B for Basic Channel, unfortunately most had bad pressing scratches ( I went through an entire batch at Fatcat records and 2 other shops in Brighton). When the next batch came through luckily no scratches but the B on the label came in black ink...

Timeless piece of techno, one of my favourite Oswald&Ernestus, totally hypnotic.

It´s 13 minutes that seems way to short.. An absolute favorite in my collection.
If you say you like techno you probably wanna check this out! Enjoy..

The less a track which launched a thousand imitations, BC and company started an almost mythical collection of dirty metallic techno come dub releases, all with very little information, all of them very , very good. BC 1 is pure dark high octane techno energy, slightly overlooked in comparison to later releases, but an awesome track without doubt, and worthy of the title ‘classic’.

Arguably the most powerful of the Basic Channel releases. Like "Phylyps Trak", "Enforcement" caused jaws to hit dancefloors in clubs worldwide, and redefined the sound of rush hour techno. This piece of utterly uncompromising music, relentless yet massively atmospheric, is a milestone in techno's history.

This is a record I never would give away. I was so lucky to get one of the red ones back in the days. Every time I saw Jeff Mills spinning, he played his red one and did it in this unique way that I become sentimental when I play it at home. I think it was a revolution for electronic music when Moritz, Jeff and Mark produced it, not only of the beginning of Basic Channel. So this is the biggest nugget in my collection.
