I don't get why there is some people putting this tune down as being crap, but hey everyone is entitled to an opinion, and nobody likes the same thing, but i must say that there are plenty of real true happy hardcore lovers out there, im 1 of them, and this tune ( eye opener ) is one of the best, especially at the time of its release, its one of brisks biggest tunes, ok ye there is more he did, but this is my opinion. i love it and have always loved it and always will. The reason for its hike in price is because its' loved by so many people, and sellers know this, so what do they do, boost up the price, so no this is not a pile of, as some say. its large as can be. 10/10 for brisk & trixxy on this one.

Cheesy nonsense... avoid like the plague. One of the tracks to stick the nail in the coffin of a once creative hardcore scene. Rubbish

This is one of my all time favourite tunes. If you haven't heard it yet, well you are missing out. It's a must. Once you've heard it, it'll never leave your head.

Samples "Open Your Eyes" by Koko - "<i>Open your eyes, see all the love in me, I got enough forever. Don't be afraid, take all you need from me, and we'll be strong together</i>", and the remix of "How High" by Redman & Method Man - "<i>... and shatter the glass and second half on your funky ass</i>" (Redman is the one who delivers the <i>funky ass</i> sample).

I love this f*cking tune! It is THE best happy hardcore tune ever and i love it.
This tune was made to be danced to and just flows brilliantly.
It starts off with a drum 'n' bass beat with kick-ass vocal over the top. Then the hardcore breaks in and you can't help but mover with it. The real "eye-opener" is when the euphoric melody kicks in and you can't help but feel that this is the best tune ever. The main "open your eyes" vocals are superb about halfway through the song when the "funky ass" bit comes in, you're glad of the breather.
But then it speeds up and when, in my mind, the climax of the song comes in with the second burst of the euphoric "open your eyes" verse comes in, you are in heaven.
I haven't done this song justice with this review and I advise, nay ORDER everyone to listen to this record even if you hate happy hardcore.
If you claim to love happy hardcore and you haven't got this record, you should be sent back to the hell from whence you came.

Eye Opener is one of the all time Happy Hardcore anthems. Sounds much rougher than most of the tunes from that time.
