Fokus and Pete Parsons were PURE gold. In fact Pete Parsons must be part deity (or benevolent alien) with the sheer number of quality releases he had or engineered for on so many labels over the years.
On this 12", I Want is just stunning. The reverbed wood blocks that are kind of shaken liberally over the breaks are incredible and fit so well. What I liked about the Fokus/Parsons style was their ability to deeply chop up breaks but keep them rolling (like Source Direct, Dillinja and Photek also did at that time). Add some proper earth shaking Dillinja bass (not that Good Looking excuse for a sub kick), beautiful Orb style synth ambiences, the cream of vocal accapellas (which I have noticed you never really heard anywhere else!) and the odd ragga snippet twisted up.
There you have it. PERFECT JUNGLE that bridged all the genres at the time.

Simply essential to all Bukem fans of that golden era that was 1994/95. Only down side to this 12" is that the lush break down doesn't go on for longer. Classic Lucky Spin though.
