Not that it matters but this isn't a roller, it's a steppa. But maybe that's just the late 90's dnb DJ in me. No doubt about it, it's a choon whatever you wanna call it!! The B was definitely dropping in '97, possibly even late '96......I remember chasing the release of this for ages back then! DnB for life!!

Quite simply the definition of a true Drum & Bass roller. Don't know how Krust did it, such simplicity and very little variation but the sheer originality of samples used and the way they're put together has you hooked from the first Beat. It sounds like a combo of a few breaks but the one at the very start I don't think I've heard anywhere else and don't know where it's from. A favourite of Brockie, It's instantly recognisable in the mix and gets you excited because it builds so nicely and you know what's about to come in. Some trivia - A mate who had a class taught by Krust at uni told me the bassline was made by putting his fingers over some phono leads to get that buzzing sound.

For those of you that are qestioning the date, I had it on a white in Nov 97, and props to those of you that know the flip - check dis out, was dropping this back in 97 and my mc at the time used to roll the lyrics over it. Considering what is the main tune on this release, the flip is one of those 'B' sides that gets overlooked by far too many

dont forget the flip side "check dis out" , cained by a few less Dj's then the flip side but the intro, the beats and the drop and rollin bassline is a perfect combo for me, i always rewind it to hear the intro ... one of the best krust tunes made and a pleasure to mix with ...

Krust has an amazing understanding of simple disturbing basslines. That's what this track and any of the Krust tunes that really work is all about.

Jump up massive and jump up crew, every time we come its with the iya iya ooh. You know DJ Rap ripped up Hysteria with this, Trigga, Spyda, Bassman, Five-0, Juiceman. This tune will never ever die.
