I found this CD in my local HMV in 2003. I bought it home with me and played it in Winamp. The tracks titles hadn't yet been uploaded to CDDB/Gracenote, so I created my own in order to digitalize them and play on my iPod. I named the tracks on the first cd; 80 Minute Mix Part I, 80 Minute Mix Part II, etc. and the second cd; 40 Minute Mix Part I through V + War Is Hell. I then accidentally uploaded this information to Gracenote. For some reason the titles were cut down to (Minute Mix Part I) etc. and ever since, these titles are still being used for the 2nd cd. So I'm very sorry about that. They're not the official titles, just a product of my neurotic organizing.

The packaging is far from being the most interesting I ever saw for what is called a limited edition. Nothing added to the original Essential Mix session, could be interesting to have pictures, anything. Anyway it's the first time I listen to this album, never wanted to buy a bootleg, and couldn't put my hand on the valuable first limited edition (but my chance will come).

Now that I listened to this stunning mix I can manifest: what a slap listening to this! Mix of funk, classic rock, jazz, country, progressive rock, hip hop old school, trip hop.. Track 5 of disc two is my grand favorite.

But hey! It's hell of a mix! This masterpiece is representative of Sir Shadow's talent, and specially for those who want to know more here is my advice: don't miss it out.
