Sorry... my pressing of the reissue is not so good... very muddy and the pitch was unstable in places...
I guess this one is the luck of the draw.

Too bad... a truly landmark album

I have the original UK 1st pressing, and this repress, and head-to-head they sound virtually identical. A times I can't tell them apart at all. Yes, 'Transmission 2' is credited, but missing, so that's not great - and something an official release wouldn't allow. But otherwise this plays with no noise, and good fidelity throughout. The samples Shadow used are often poor quality recorded sources anyway from scratchy old 7" singles, which were then put straight to DAT after coming out of the Akai MPC60 sampler, so you can forget about the 'analogue chain' argument here - this is as good as it is gonna get.
Worth the time.

Where's Transmission 2 at??? Beautiful little track, a shame it isn't on this pressing.

Pretty terrible pressing for one of my personal favorite records of all time. Kind of a shame, but I'm glad I've got it.

Sounds like tinned shit, though.

Sound quality is fine, pressing quality could be better. Sounds cheaply pressed, looks like it too. Noisy and dull. Too bad for such a killer album.

No stickers, no gatefold, so what, sounds great. The US original wasn't a gatefold either..

Cheap looking reissue. No gatefold sleeve and no green labels .Big disappointment.
