There is a subsequent version with black labels as well as one, which also has colored labels, but can be identified by the different mastering information found in the runout grooves.

Matrix / Runout (Etched Side B): 697-124-123-1R1-B MASTERDISK JD.

Anybody else have this version? According to the info, I have one original press, and one repress. Is that even possible?

Great press and considered a classic Hop Hop and indeed a timeless classic and must have to a basic hip hop collection.

Still definitely happy to have this...but having listened to the digital for years, I’m still What Does Your Soul Look Like 4? That’s my favorite track off the album 🙁

"...DJ Shadow is the Jimi Hendrix or Jimmy Page of the Sampler"
-NME I think the Phil Collins era Genesis of the sampler would have been more accurate.

Mine has black labels and etched in the runout is "697-124-123-1 A"—no "RE-1" or "RE-1 F/WRCE" anywhere. Is some of this information incorrect?

Album cover is a pic from inside "Records Records" in Sac, CA. Alas the building is no more last time I visited a few mos back. It was a funky/weird shop for sure.

Repress has sticker to? Mine has "military" green sticker on shrink. Great album btw :)

Essential, if you don't own this then you are clearly missing out on a gem.

Mine has black labels...?
