this track by dj sneak uses a re-edited bassline from the breakdown of Vincent Montana Jr's Heavy Vibes track on the Philly Sound Works Label from way back in (1982) https://www.discogs.com/Montana-Sextet-Heavy-Vibes/master/88693

Skip side A completely. It doesn’t really go anywhere. Go to side B & listen to “Disco Breaks”. It’s a house track that has a good drum kick & a disco sample throughout the track. I bet you’re like, “Hmmmmm... This track is not going anywhere...” Well, that’s because you still haven’t gotten to the middle of the record. The rhythm changes into a harder & more aggressive disco loop & then it goes back to normal. That’s all folks. (^_^ )
