Pretty sure the A1 here samples 'Frenzy', the B2 on Z-Formation - Brutal EP.

Although best known for his quirky Piano-Ambient variations Terre Thaemlitz here delivers a raw Old-School-styled House release for a change.
While "Bassline.89.3" is a mere re-edit of Farley Funk's classic "The Acid Life", "Glorimar's Whore House" is quite a refreshing tune with an anthem's ambitions as displayed by the amusing chant-loop ("There's a whore in this House!"), the sample taken from Todd Terry's "A Day In The Life" and the surprising change after about 1/3 of the track. The A-side features three heavy New York House stompers with rough basslines and some fond drum programming. All in all a nice, unusual House record - particularly recommended to people interested in the obscurities of this genre.
