So I just saw Escape Plan (pretty good) with some old friends and the nostalgia of Schwarzenegger and Stallone plus some extra chemistry made me look through my collection for some classic old trance and acid !

Here we have 4 tracks - 3 in particular I want to emphasize ! I am a big fan of Feller and Wedel and their older 90's works

The original is a great 90's simplistic emotional trance ride - nice euro trance beat / drums and a dreamy moving wavy synth- plus a harmonizing female vocal bass 4 love / love 4 bass - good in a old trance set

Next up is a brilliant remix by another underrated German trance act Perplexer who released many a euro trance classic . This takes the track in a new faster trance direction with a lovely delicate blippy acid and trance breakdown but similarly following the structure IMO of the original.

The standout though for raw power and brain stimulation has to be from the legendary 90's German acid trance act MANDALA consisting of Commander Tom and master Ray Boye ! - Reviewing from the tube - This starts with beautiful psychedelic uplifting chords taking a hint from the original mix - Then the dirty squirty 303 muscles in - at 1.09 - then that computer controlled 303 line builds screeches and develops so uniquely at 1.58 until 2.47 a break of intensive orange electric kinetic juice perforates your ear drums - the beat kicks back in and then this fizzy tonic bubbles through the brain until 3.36 another breakdown which intensifies and climaxes with pure musical neuronic energy, The 303 and bassline return to again culminate in some powerful acid wizardry until the dreamy synth ends the track.

A must play even these days for true mind expanding techniques !!

This record is so cheap to pick up here on DIscogs and selling in many countries so please if you have any enthusiasm or interest in old acid trance or german trance - please make your DJ and play a revival !

A real forgotten classic trance vinyl from the good old days !
