One of my absolute favourite records ever! Been hearing that alexandrie sample by claude françois in my head for the last fifteen years.
Favourite track: DJ Tonka - Old Skool

It's a crying shame Use Ya Ears is so hard to find on CD. I remember I had to buy the unmixed vinyl of:

www.discogs.com/Various-Creative-House/release/770652 and rip it to Pro Tools. Old Skool, which is almost as good is available on quite a few compilations from back then, but Use Ya Ears? - No.

'Use ya ears' should be the a-side. Absolute smooth house track with fat beats and a deep melody. Just to get it right, old skool is a fantastic track and would get 5 out of 5 stars, but the b-side wins on this one! tonka's style of making housemusic on force inc. us got me into the deep and funky house scene. later releases on different labels which hit the charts all over europe aren't bad but lost their deep and funky feel.

The problem is... a lot of people don't use their ears... SO TRUE!
