Although 92 is considered a Hardcore/Jungle year within the genre,Teach me to Fly is right at the heart of the inception of Drum and Bass, seminal and groundbreaking in every way.Trace has the unique distinction of releasing 2 game changing records which could be considered the very origins of Drum and Bass in Teach me to Fly and T Powers - The Mutant Remix which is widely considered as the birth of tech step. Both artists can be considered visionary and ahead of their time, and helped shape a musical genre that is now just reaching its 25th year.

I actually really like the remix of inception, ok its not as good and raw as the original but it is easy to mix and is still pretty hard. Definatly a great release.

The remix of Inception was a disappointing follow up to the original, however 'Teach Me To Fly' more than made up for it, initially a track that didn't seem to fit the mould and may have been passed over for not being hectic enough in comparison to its peers, but once you get this on a system then you know this tune rocks the house, prototype Drum & Bass (but it was all hardcore then!) of the highest order and a Kenny Ken smasher. Nuff said!
